I love Tab. Come at me, haters!
I love Tab. Come at me, haters!
Same! Except I loved/love Simon and Garfunkle, Joni Mitchell (Blue is my desert island album, forever), Joan Baez, and Queen.
Left Dog’s pants are covering its legs and its arms and that just isn’t how pants work.
He’s cuuute! He kinda looks like a dancing pork wonton with googly eyes.
Not only do ours get presents, they “give” us presents. I shop for them because of the lack of opposable thumb/freeloading thing, but they do supervise the wrapping. I also still get presents from my mom’s dog, who has consistently good taste in accessories!
I almost didn’t even see that one, you monster!!! Like “that’s not an Elf on the—OH GOD THERE IT IS AGAIN, FUCK!”
I had to turn my phone away to give this the star it needed. *shudder*
That thing is creepy and I can’t even bring myself to look at one, let alone touch it. Whatever your reasons, I support any elf-free homes :)
The Elf on the Shelf is creepy AF. Forget about using a bathroom at any friends-with-kids houses this time of year. The chance that thing is lurking in the shower like some kind of murderer or monster is way too high.
Exactly. And not to minimize her experience (it sounds like a total pain in the ass at minimum and could have been truly traumatic for her), but a hacked twitter account does not equal “being harassed by any man in your life”. Just...stahhhp, Stacey Dash. You are still Clueless, girl.
Yeah I was kinda wondering about that. I’d assume she had already reported the incident to Twitter or it extended beyond a Twitter matter but it’s Stacey Dash? so probably not.
I think Gawker was mostly Denton (but I’m not sure—I can’t keep up with all the owner/EIC-changes around here!) but otherwise, totally! She still takes a lot of heat for what she publishes, but she really was a forerunner in the “publishing controversial ‘women’s’ pieces” scene.
Oh those commenters are definitely still there, but they’re way outnumbered by normal people these days! (Also: rip, oxblood Docs :( )
I was gonna bring this up: Jane Pratt WAS the editor of Sassy and is still going strong over at xoJane (which I read and love, mostly because the commenters there are hilarious and awesome). She would almost *certainly* still publish articles with the same tone/snark today.
If I lost a bet where the loser had to get “The Kris Jenner/Liza Minelli” I would forever be known as the person who walks on a bet.
Whoa! That’s some next-level craziness (especially the “voter discrimination no longer exists in the south” part. Um...what. Only if you turn a blind eye to the blatant re-zoning to keep areas that are predominately black/Hispanic in their own tiny voting bubbles (with voting centers closing at 5, when everyone is…
Seconded! This was an excellent interview and I would love to hear more about her and her campaign.
I would love to see an article about the changing representation of trans women in the media. I feel like between the success of Transparent, the first televised wedding of a trans woman http://www.salon.com/2015/12/17/tra…, and the increased discussion of cosmetic procedures for trans women on shows dealing with…
I get those sometimes and they do suck! We must smile too much ;) Re: color-matching; I googled the shit out of drugstore dupes for the shades I had of more expensive foundations (MUFE and Lancôme) and ended up going a shade lighter just because I was afraid the cheaper one would oxidize faster or something. It…
