I liked it. Stop and enjoy a film.

I thought the movie was entertaining, it wasn’t the series the best nor was it it’s worst, it was just a very safe modern Disney affair. Don’t expect revolutionary cinematography and effects like Return of The Jedi, just go in understanding it for what it is.

The film wasn’t really given much leeway due to how badly written TLJ was. TLJ had some good ideas (and also some stupid ones) but, more importantly, it also left no room for a sequel and tried to tie up everything that was being set up in Force Awakens.

Babu Frik is cute as hell and deserves his own show. If it’s with Keri Russell, even better.

As someone who had years and years of fun with the content the studio produced, I’m appaled by this. People working there played a very important part in me having more interest and appreciation for japanese culture in general. KyoAni is still one of my favorites. This is entirely too sad.
