I read that as “longer than life,” am I correct?

Yes.

It’s sand...and a fucking Fischer-Price...wah.

Sorry...got drunk and arguementive; enjoyed your article....truely, sorry, was drunk and acted like a dickhead. :(

OK, I had too much to drink...sorry, I was being a dickhole. Sorry.

In NC, it’s a felony...in fact, you should know that a lien is more powerful than any other law; if I pull a lien, the IRS can’t pull a title without my permission.

Why are you being such a dick? I was agreeing with you, asshat...

Brake failure and title seizure has nothing to do with your article? Seriously? Seriously? FUCK YOU.

Especially on the Dragon’s Tail...

NC...would we want annual inspections. If you had read my previous post, you would see we want annual inspections? It’s called “brake failure.” A big deal on the App...

Like I said, if we let a vehicle leave with substandard brakes, we are aiding and abetting a criminal...just fix your fucking brakes.

I’m a mechanic, not a lawyer...there is no citation AFAIK, but allowing a vehicle to leave the shop without proper brakes would make us liable. We would refuse to let the vehicle leave the shop, refuse payment, and pull a Mechanic’s Lien until the customer paid us, or let it leave on a rollback.

Wait, they Dyno’ed you the first time? For an OBD-1? What happened?

Here in NC, we have annual inspections for cars 35 years and newer, but they want NO inspections...at all. smdh

A warped rotor isn’t a safety hazard, and can be turned at any Midas/O’Reilly’s,/NAPA/Autozone for less than $40...

BTW, he’s checking for A/C leaks, guessing by the goggles....

In NC we have the Good Samaritan law...which means if your DOT-approved brakes aren’t DOT-approved, we would be aiding in a criminal act...but, seriously, if you need them to leave on a rolback, just threaten a lien.

Am I the only one reading this as a sexual thing? ROSE petals...UNDER the table...requested HIM to work regularly?

Honestly, I can’t see the point in firing a bunch of volunteers, though; it’s not like it would save them any money, and they’d lose a bunch of free labor. Like It’sNotEasy said, it’s fairly common for regulars to mod forums...I admined SMCars for a few years, and modded a couple smaller forums for free.

Uhhh...who the Hell pays their Mods in the first place? Just get some volunteers...easy-peasy.
