So, nobody’s going to admit they actually kind of liked Alien Resurrection?

Silent Running was one of the biggest ugly cry moments I have had, and will ever have in a movie. That end scene, the robot...damn. This man. This man is the father of R2D2, Wal-E, all of it. Definitely deserves a moment of silence.

Idk Sweet Tooth, Witcher, Squid Games and Arkane were pretty good. I think HBO Max has a more appealing roster because i like the prestige HBO shows, classic movies and some of the DC movies, cartoons and shows. But I have Netflix to thank for my Bollywood binges, and my dives into Korean and Japanese action and

Netflix is far and away the best service for non anglophone content, and maybe Americans don’t care about that, but I certainly do.

Now playing

My short list is Peacemaker, LOST, Game of Thrones, X-files, Battlestar Galactica, and MacGyver. However, #1 all time has to be this:

So, Queen of Swords, then?

I was on a redeye flight back home from Japan and the guy next to me started watching it. I was bored and just kinda watched along, and after around 20 minutes he turned it off. I had gotten kinda invested, though, so when he fell asleep, I fired it up myself.

We can call it... The Dissolve!  Wait, shit...

It’s funny and also weird that we’re all having the same reaction to this. I truly can not imagine anything dumber than this feud, and I am totally here for it. Why? Is it the guilty pleasure of watching these two torpedo-headed slabs of brisket trade prissy notes over social media? Is it because the F&F franchise

What I liked about Resurrections was that, unlike a lot of belated sequels, it didn’t undo the victories of the older movies. There has been peace between humans and machines for decades, and some of the machines are part of the humans’ culture. The villain is a new kind of enemy, not the old one in disguise. Even

Unsubtle or not, Deja Vu is a great name for a cat, considering their propensity for demanding to be fed mere seconds after you’ve fed them.

I adore Sense8. No, it’s not subtle but who cares. It’s such a celebration of love and acceptance, it was just a joy.

It's a pretty underrated movie. There's some great Terry Gilliam-esque scenes with the interstellar bureaucracy.

Somewhat off topic, but I just watched JUPITER ASCENDING last week for the first time and I...kind of loved it? It was ridiculously fun. I know Eddie Redmayne won a Razzie for it but I adored his wacked out Crispin Glover energy.

* I know that he is likely to show up in flashbacks in Echo’s own show, but I was very annoyed to see Zach McClarnan — brilliant in Fargo, West World and Reservation Dogs — dead two minutes after he was introduced. His scenes did pack the required emotional punch, but I would have loved for him to have a bigger, more

Kaitlin Olsen should have multiple Emmys just for being the epitome of class and elegance as Sweet Dee

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would put Cloak and Dagger in my top ten. It was much better than what I expected and one of my favorite shows at the time.

Someone has got to step up for Cloak & Dagger. It has some truly powerful character work and deserves a lot more credit.
