also the way he said “holy shit” when Sheila-as-Liza showed up
Yes!!! And Brett Gelman is so so good in both of these roles!
Bash being super into magic reeeeeally tracks
Glad to hear that! I was assuming that’d be the case. They do have a big cast and a small episode order.
Yes definitely did notice that camera pan and I think/hope you’re right. I get the impression that Lexi is the character who doesn’t know who she is the most out of everyone else cause they each seem to have a stronger sense of self in some way comparatively. I really hope they explore that next season.
Yeah not only that but definitely her past best friendship with Rue and how it changed, being the “overshadowed” sister to Cassie (mostly terms of romantic partners, as was hinted here tonight), her relationship with her mom (maybe dad too), and just more characterization/screen time for her in general.
I really would like Lexi to get her own episode next season.
Yes! Made that connection this episode as well.
“That’s a good question. Well, uh, do you know the difference between a major and a minor chord?” “I’m five.” “No excuse. I’ll show you when we get home.”
We also had a silly dance battle in a previous season to which I hope Jemaine Clement’s rider/contract has some sort of artistic battle (whether rap/dance/etc) from…
So glad Jane got to run as long as it has. Seems so fitting it’s ending with exactly 100 episodes. Weird to think I’ve been with it from the pilot. Tried telling so many people to look past the title and initial premise (some listened thankfully!) hoping they’d see the 3 Villanueva women are the heart and soul of the…
all i care about is john reynolds in another main role
My understanding with this was that at the end, future/present Farouk entered past/baby David* when Charles was comforting Gabrielle. So, I think that changes the past timeline, and if it indeed changes it in the way I’m thinking, where do we go from here? Is Farouk doing this to stop David from “ending the world” in…
Jane doesn’t deserve this!!! Corey did seem too good to be true :(
Cary didn’t deserve the shit he went through this episode but Bill Irwin did. Damn, that room escape/drug trip was amazing.
all i care about is john reynolds in another series. can’t waittt for s3 of search party.
just fyi season 1&2 are indeed on hulu!
Rewatched the last episode of s2 before the premiere last night and I love that the last line of dialogue was “and now we pray” from Clark. All the talk of gods from David and that line, didn’t realize the set up for s3 until I rewatched, but it makes sense.
The proposal was too cute.
What a great ep!
