I'm more on board with your initial complaint regarding Jon not at least asking for Dragon coverage before making the trip. Everything that happens on that trip is the expected chaos. Some ice cracking, freezing again, ravens and dragons flying in a certain amount of time that no one (not even the show) can make

So Brienne can ride to Kings Landing in the same amount of time Jon and Dany can sail there, and that's cool. But a raven flying to Dany and a Dragon flying to Jon all in one episode is unacceptable? I don't think the timeline makes much sense, but it is obviously a product of the time left to tell this story. And

Those were some big dudes, and that was a pretty big mass of walkers. It's not impossible to image cracking the ice with all those bodies.

And I have no problem with that. Now if this was renewed for 5 more seasons, I'd be upset. But with only 7 more episodes. Lets get these people to these places and have the conversations and action take place.

Brienne will be in Kings Landing in a year then.

Winterfell to Kings Landing is 1000 miles they say. So straight up the coast Dragonstone to Eastwatch couldn't be more than 1000-1500 - so thinking 2 days to fly up and down isn't that much of stretch. Certainly not enough to completely keep you from enjoying the spectacle.

Thoros froze to death and the water over the lake froze over again. Had to be 2 or 3 days. And if you look the map, Dragonstone to Eastwatch by air isn't all that far. It's a straight line up the coast pretty much. Shouldn't take any longer than a few hours (12-24) to make that flight.

How long would it take for the water to freeze over again? At least a couple days you'd think. They had to have been there for 2 or 3 days.

So is it Dondarrion that's not going to Kings Landing?

How on earth could you want Tormund to die just for some meaning, when the possibility for "monster" babies with he and Brienne was just discussed??

Have to stay in one place to bring multiple characters and storylines together before moving to a new location. They did it with The Saint, now they've done it with the The Grail and Herr Starr. Expect movement location wise to start next week, and considering next week is officially the 3rd act of this season, it

Man I've watched the whole series at least 3 times from start to finish. Just excellent characters and dialogue, it never gets old.

He's in this season. Just not so much yet.

I've loved Elliott Smith ever since the first time I listened to Heatmiser "Plainclothes Man" - From there I got into his solo stuff, "Elliott Smith" "XO" "Either/Or" "Figure 8" even "Basement on a Hill" all excellent albums with a unique sound that has yet to be duplicated by anyone, whether a band or solo artist.

Excellent review.

Another entertaining episode. This season is churning them out.

I'm on board with this season so far. (Except anything to do with Zack) Had to split everyone up when you're coming back to a 9 month time jump. I wish we had more time with everyone, but they'll eventually be back as one group before it's over. Need more Satrakian and Fet together. Eph has had the best story so far.

Sorry about that. I honestly didn't check for the authors name. I've been reading your reviews on this show (presumably all yours?) ever since it's been on and never once checked for your name. Maybe that makes me sound even worse. Lol. Looking forward to next week for sure.

Having them reach these actions faster after receiving the initial information that leads to their embarking on the journey, isn't a bad thing when you're into season 7 and each character and motivations you're dealing with are already fleshed out very well.

Yes, I read the whole thing, because I enjoy your reviews. Very thoughtful and informative. But when it's the same lengthy griping about how long it takes to reach these destinations, it just becomes repetitive. Obviously it's going to be difficult matching up length of travel to every scene we see related to said
