Most, if not all, of these would pass in Maine. My crass, juvenile plate is pretty tame up here.

I would really love to live in this world of yours where good condition M Coupes are valued at 10k.
That would be close to NP money without the wing and woofer, but those two things just screw up what is an otherwise desirable car. CP.
Wouldn’t that just be LeMons?
Another case of a seller looking up the worth of their car online and not bothering to read the descriptions of what it entails for a car to be in “good” or “excellent” condition. The seller may not be an idiot, but he certainly presents as one in the ad, with the whole barn find/garage kept non-sense and stating…
I have seen one of these in person, and it makes an impression. Much more so than an Enzo.
You, sir, are doing this right. Congratulations. Meanwhile, Radar and Elvis, “I don’t like it/I wouldn’t drive it” is not the same thing as “it’s not worth the asking price.”
I fit comfortably in this car, whereas every Miata I have sat in was uncomfortably tight.
I’m a late comer to the whole GoT thing, and I realize there’s no point to responding to a post so far after the fact, but I cannot read “Diana Riggs reminds of my first girlfriend” without asking: Is your name Harold?
Pictures of the day I got my Abarth tat, and the day I sold my Abarth. :) The car was absolutely ridiculous fun—it’s nickname is Little Big Fun (the guy who bought it still calls it that). It was the first car I spent time and money on modifying, and the first where I did many of my own repairs. I loved that car, and…
I live in Maine and drive a small RWD coupe, running “ultra high performance all-season” tires (quotes because they really aren’t either of those things), with no issues in the vast majority of conditions. No one “needs” AWD.
It’s almost like he’s trying to take out his shock therapy on the rest of us.
There’s got to be at least +25hp worth of decals on there.
If were inclined to import a TVR (I’m not), I would wait a few years and bring over a Tuscan Speed Six, because if I am going to do something that crazy I’d want to go all in.
I agree that Bangle’s designs have aged well. Hell I thought they were pretty good at the time as well. I think Bangle’s cars had the misfortune of looking much better in the round than they did flat and glossy.
Move out to the sticks—you’ll hear it ALL. OF. THE. TIME.
Torch gave a practical, compelling answer to a “What Should I drive”. I find this greatly disturbing.
Being in Maine I wouldn’t say it’s far at all. My car club is having its winter meet in a couple of weeks—you should come up, we’ll go out for snonuts afterwards.
I read the headline and my first thought was “that’s a great price—what’s wrong with it?” And upon reading it was about what I expected. This car needs a lot of work that is going to cost a ton of money, which makes the price pretty much market correct. Despite being an expensive project car, this is a NP.
Mmmmmm. Snonuts.
