That’s insane. I will never understand the hype for this game. The world is so bland, all the characters are too...shiny, the combat is sluggish, and the pvp blows.

I’m glad you enjoy them. I’m not a huge fan of the ‘cutesy’ stuff. Part of the appeal of Halo is that it feels like an old school shooter. This feels very gen Z, fortnitey. That kinda chaotic and slapdash aesthetic i personally feel isn’t a good fit for this game.

Thats funny cuz it feels like old dudes like me are. This is the first Halo my old college buddies and I have cared about since 3. I suck at COD, fortnitez, apex, all that new shit ....but Halo infinite just clicks.

Meh. I’m perfectly happy with what infinite has on offer. The cosmetics are basically meaningless since ur in first person 95% of the time ur playing. Titanfall 2 is the greatest FPS tragedy. A mechanically and aesthetically superior shooter getting overshadowed by mundane franchises. It scared Respawn into pouring its efforts in the the tepid Apex Legends, stripping everything that was awesome about titanfall away in the process.

I agree with you, it was fine as is. You can play the entire multiplayer for free for Christ’s sake. The cosmetics are next to useless. It is a first person game, the only time you see urself is in menus, at the start of the game, in vehicles, or upon death. The challenges are simple to complete and I rather easily…

Exactly my complaint with Assassin’s Creed. Hasn’t been a truly great one since Unity. Syndicate was just Batman: Victorian London, and everything since has been a shittier version of The Witcher. Ubisoft keeps wandering away from what makes shit awesome.
