The combat system reminds me of Xenogears, and that's a great thing.

Looks cool. And the music sounds like Chrono Cross (which is also good).
Hey pal, next time you write instructions, make 'em a little more obvious, would ya? I used NEW jeans for the filter, and now my pants smell like bacon! Everyone on the bus was looking at me funny! Maybe next time bold the important words!!
Speaking as a Marine with combat experience: Bullshit. There's also such a thing as situational awareness. If the cop thought shoving this chick into a bench was what he had to do to "protect his brothers," that is a horrific failure of training. I'd hate to see how he reacts to actual danger.
So this is why my dailies in HS where so easy yesterday. "Wait, is this guy seriously using that spell to damage me instead of going for board control? Hahahaha!"
I wasn't even gonna buy it, but because of your comment, I think I will.
TOUCH MY BAAAAAAAASS! TOUCH MY FUCKIN' BASS!
Took me about 10 hours. Unfortunately, work forced me to split it into two sittings, but goddamn is it hard to put down.
Guys, if you haven't bought this, buy it. I don't normally play games for more than two or three hours at a go, but I beat The Banner Saga in a single sitting. It's fucking phenomenal, despite some minor combat quibbles.

I'm almost positive that it's just the photographer's thumb, happens to me all the time.

All I'm saying is he better involve his band Dead Man's Bones in the music for this movie, because that would be awesome. If you've never heard them, they sound like zombie Elvis with a creepy kids choir.
