Wasn’t there a suggestion under the previous administration to turn Fifth Avenue into a private shooting range?
“Unless you enjoy sitting in traffic or shopping within the deafening levels of sound that traffic brings, Fifth Avenue is not suitable for purpose.”
This place is really remote. You apparently have to drive 40 miles North AND 12 miles South to get to the next closest gas station. Most cars aren’t stretchy enough to cover 52 miles!
Let’s be honest here, he had a bit more than just a verbal agreement. He had a signed order agreement, which yes, doesn’t have final sale price. But that’s the problem. It’s entirely reasonable for a person to think that the price listed there is the final sale price.
At the same time, why does everything have to come down to legality and signed agreements for things like this. Shouldn’t a well functioning system be easy to navigate, transparent, and not rely on having to protect yourself all the time? An ideal system here should be relatively “frictionless” so to speak.
Was she a public facing public servant when she tweeted those? Because if not, she was just someone with an opinion. If you don’t want people with opinions being in charge, then you’ll have a hard time finding anyone qualified.
Then it’s a good thing those tweets were from before she is appointed.
Your service here did not go unnoticed. The collective commentariat is a little smarter thanks to your contribution.
How is a dealer supposed to generate ‘interest’ if users can easily tell they’re lying about every car being simultaneously manual and auto?
Yeah, but did you have a really shitty software interface that made it all but impossible to reply try comments like this?
I think in the self-selected population of commenters on a car blog, salespeople have been redundant for over two decades.
I don’t think the staff are necessarily bad as the general sales philosophy of that dealership and its owners or in some cases the sales manager.
Well, they’ve lost like $300M over 4 of the most profitable years the car business has ever seen.
I remember days, not that long ago, where we could all log on to the internet and have these exact same debates about cars and car dealers and finances on forums without someone being paid to type a couple hundred words of an ‘article’ at the start.
30 minutes maybe lol
882Wh is the battery capacity. this is a convenient use for small appliances and better than nothing but i would not consider this “replacing a generator”
“has already “rose”? i mean i realize this is not Spinelli’s Jalopnik, but i occasionally still check in to see if any remnant of the intelligent and witty journalism. How does a grammatical error in a Headline like that even get by a minimum of editorial review?
Just because there are faster versions of this car, doesn’t mean it still isn’t a nice price - especially for a daily driver.
Del Bocca Vista baby!
