Yeah, I love these old compact pickups (of all makes), but I don’t want to live in a world where a 40-fucking-year old Datsun pick-up is worth $4K.

I agree with you, but I also feel like I might need to share some of my blood pressure meds with you.

Aint nothin a red plastic gas can and a bosch 70PSI inline lectric fuel pump cain’t fix.

For that money I would probably rather go with a 1995 - 5.4L 928 GTS.

I personally love convertibles. But I don’t love the ASC after-thought hack jobs. These just never look right, especially with the top up. A good convertible is designed with the ragtop in mind.

Convertibles are great. Coupes with their roofs chopped off are hit or miss.

I think his comment is more about the market price of the 968

The issue is Kanye says this words literally hundreds of times on his records. No one is saying “Kanye and other musicians need to stop saying the n-word” but if, say, someone who isa race driver says it, its headline news.

And immediately calling someone racist is the laziest, dumbest response to a legitimate question. If you lack the intelligence or the capability to have a discussion without calling names then leave it to the adults. Thanks.

Back in ‘07, a Civil Right group held a mock funeral for the slur stating that it unacceptable, regardless of who’s mouth it comes out of (black or white).

So you just omit the largest offender of the use of this word....because its a argument?

So, you’re saying Nice Price?

Family friends and a swim coach had them around the late 70's/early 80's — You’ve never tempted death (ie, had an average day circa ‘81) until you’ve sat in those bed seats on the freeway....

I had to roll my eyes at Seattle to San Diego not being “driving distance”.

I’m wondering where he went that quoted him more than the car’s worth just to swap out the brakes. Even if he’s gouged the rotors it shouldn’t cost more than a few hundred bucks, even less if he does it himself. A leaky exhaust can also be patched up pretty cheap. This guy’s just looking for an excuse to take out

It’s on the Mulrooney. It means it came with the car. End of story.

The features were still on the car when the owner bought it. They didn’t disappear until he got home and updated the software, which was when Tesla’s software audit actions took effect. So he bought a car with those features, then those features were removed. The car was sold to the dealer as having those options,

Right, because a typical pre-purchase inspection includes confirming that features listed on the original window sticker haven’t been remotely removed from the car by the manufacturer, and any used car buyer who fails to have one of these mythical pre-existing feature inspections performed deserves what they get.

But remember, Tesla sold the car on 11/15. When they did the audit, they were no longer the owners of the car.

As long as they have the word ‘Future’ in their name, it’ll be fine.
