She told the dispatcher the group was knocking gas pumps down

My absolute favorite part of the original video was toward the end when she changed her tune to “I just want to get to know you as a neighbor,” and the guy was like “I don’t want to have anything to do with you. Get away from me.”

But that’s not what she did, so your commend doesn’t seem relevant.

Our school district issued an alert about a black man who asked some teens for directions. I don’t necessarily fault the teens for reporting something that felt creepy to them (although...), I do think some adult along the way should have put the brakes on issuing a district-wide alert about it. I posted as much on

Those two things (the layoffs and the right-to-work amendment) are not as closely connected as this article (?) implies. Alabama’s “right-to-work” amendment applies to private sector workers, not government employees.

Using “Pocahantas” as a slur should be enough to bring him down. But it’s actually only like .001% of all of the terrible stuff he’s done.

Ugh, she seems disgusting all around.

WTF? They should turn the whole organization over to Aly and Simone.

Does her statement sound kind of victim-blamey? Those who acquiesced moved ahead, and those who didn’t were left behind?

If I was Drake - I would still be with Rihanna.

I think it’s only partially dismissed...

I think that if they can show intentional race discrimination (Kemp has said stuff publicly about wanting to suppress minority votes) then they would have a viable legal theory. Whether the judge who would hear the case will issue an injunction that would likely hand the governorship to an African-American woman is a

A lawsuit has been filed (I don’t know if it will succeed).

Also:

Idk why I am feeling inspired to defend this POS, but Justices interrupting the lawyers that appear before them is completely normal. The lawyers have a set amount of time, so they will just keep on talking until they are interrupted by one of the justices, otherwise they are just squandering their time.

I was actually fantasizing about all woman lawyers agreeing to just completely ignore him when they go argue at the supreme court. Like, he asks a question and they go right on saying what they were saying and only stop when interrupted by one of the other justices.

I think it’s that his observations are so basic and shallow.

Not sure of his official party registration, but Larry Summers was Obama’s Treasury Secretary.
