Well that’s kind of the point, they don’t want to make something so radical no one like it. They had to make it plain to appeal to the masses not just the enthusiast market. They have to be able to attract people who think of a car as an appliance.

Completely agree, driving my series everyday to school. Sure everyone has a Jeep (let alone one with a manual), but those just aren't as cool and driving it is the most priceless experience ever. Everyone beeps and waves at you and asks for rides. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
Also this car kind of makes or breaks the company
