She’s an industry plant. A corporate, industry-curated pop star that’s been marketed as the opposite. She minimally talented; her voice, albeit having a nice soft tone, is rather weak and limited, and she can’t stand on her own two feet. Her producer/writer brother, who connected her in the industry, makes the music

Alicia Keys wasn’t behind her, not even Beatz. P Diddy was behind her.

“The most powerful moment, though, might have come courtesy of Hamilton creator (and tireless pro-immigrant advocate) Lin-Manuel Miranda, who spent his time on stage dedicating a lullaby to all the kids still currently separated from their parents, and who can no longer sing to them themselves.”

You clearly have no idea who Alicia Keys is lmao.

“In honor of the Stripes, I’ll stop at seven, though I could make also cases for the likes of Alicia Keys’ “Fallin’,”

Having more voices and more brains on an album gives it the opportunity to reach greater depth, achieve better sound, and draw from more varied experience than one person alone could ever bring to the table. ...

Lol she doesn’t make, her BTS team does and she gets her agreed upon undue co-credits.

Also the accompanying Cultured magazine article/profile of them is very good read, good insight.

Very cool and tasteful recreation; Alicia & Swizz easily pull this off, while very few would be able to pull it off. They’re both iconic and cultured individuals themselves, and plus they’re both friends and co-chairs of the Gordon Parks Foundation so they’re natural fits.

What an idiotic and insulting article. Alicia Keys herself said she wasn’t anti-makeup at all and her personal decision to not wear makeup most days didn’t mean she wasn’t ever going to wear makeup, nor that women shouldn’t wear makeup. And that she in fact does and would wear little make up here an there when she

Why an old as/ show like 70’s Show with a washed up actor who’s nothing to them now but a massive liability, and Prepon who isn’t a big public figure and anyway hasn’t had anything to do with scientology for a while. Elisabeth Moss is where it’s at for them actually, celebrity-wise. People talk about Tom Cruise,

How ridiculous is it that you don’t mention one of the most famous and successful Scientologists Elisabeth Moss, a recent Emmy winner for THE HAND MAID’s TALE and recent Scientology defender? You should joke they should The Handmaid’s Take. How can you ignore a major actress like her and yet mention and old as/ show

“after it killed off a black character in a sloppy and painful manner that essentially ripped off the real-life death of Eric Garner”

There isn’t more than Spacey actually. By now multiple people (including House of Cards coworkers) have spoken out about their experience with Spacey, including another then-minor and more attempted rape cases.

It’s funny how much crap is made up and how many gullible people believe- still believe - “blind items”, the site which was long ago proven to be fabrications.

She is insufferable, and I find Schilling makes her more annoying than she needs to be. I generally don’t find her generally compelling in the dramatic scenes either.

What are you smoking and bitter about, Prepon’s great in the role, subtle and nuanced. Apart from a couple of other actors, I find Schilling to be grating sometimes in her role, treating it too caricatured and sitcom-y.

“Eddie Redmayne touched on trans issues (he plays a trans woman in The Danish Girl), Cate Blanchett maybe said a word or two about lesbians (she plays one in Carol)“

Well said.

"Katy Perry is a successful woman in a previously male dominated industry (which is nothing to scoff at)"
