The thing that made the SNES special was that Nintendo knew that it was a pretty crappy piece of hardware so designed it from the beginning with the idea that you could expand it dramatically on the cartridge itself.

An MVS is a lot better nowadays because the games are more affordable. AES are nice because they’re obviously designed for the TV but unless you have a shitload of money the MVS is the way to go.
