They have guns because this is Murca. No commie’s going to take our guns.

Well, it’s only really a problem for a few minutes as you get used to the layout. After that, it’s no longer a matter of “which one is B”, instead it’s muscle memory. There’s no QTEs in SNES games thankfully. As an aside, I play Saturn more than anything but when I play Dreamcast I get confused for a few minutes…
At this point, everyone who would buy this should know what the buttons are. Also, there’s ways to get rid of the yellowing.
VC2 deals with the aftermath of the war. It takes place afterwards but the conflict is directly linked to the war, the Federation and the revelation about Cordelia. It’s easy to link both the racist revolt against the Darcsen and the manipulation by the Federation to the events of the first game which only takes place…
For this sort of game sure, but how much sense does it make for a country like Gallia to be involved with anymore conflicts or that conflict specifically? All Valkyria games to this point have centered around Gallia and the Second Europan War, although 2 was the aftermath. I suspect the majority of the time spent…
Akiba’s so overrated. There’s still a few good places to go but Nakano is a lot more compact and has a lot less crap. There’s also a lot more rare stuff here but I think that a lot of the prices are kind of high.
Isn’t Living on a Prayer already a metal song? This is power metal but no matter how shitty most metal people consider hair/glam metal it was still metal.
All three Valkyria games had stories that were based around the same conflict which at this point is pretty played out. Sega has probably had time building up a good conflict to build a new Valkyria game around. It doesn’t make sense for yet another game in the Europan war and just how many conflicts should a small,…
There’s been a few Shining games that have used a modified Valkyria engine. They were just ok. In my opinion, Shining Force IV or any “real” Shining game cannot exist as long as Camelot is not working with Sega. Valkyria has a team more directly linked to Skies of Arcadia and Phantasy Star than Shining.
We brought back quite a bit so unless you’re bringing more than several hundred dollars worth don’t worry about it. I’m sure you’re aware of the kit kat shop in Ikebukuro? If not, it’s in the food area in the bottom of the Seibu building. If you can’t find it, it’s in one of the corners. Don’t have your expectations…
I’m not saying Christians can’t. I’m just saying that there’s a certain type of Christian that loves freaking out about paganism whose attention could turn this series into a mega-franchise in America.
In Youkai Watch, there’s something called evolution but it’s not nearly as elaborate as it is in Pokemon.
I don’t know. Trump’s on board the red cup thing now. It also got coverage on Fox and Breitbart. Although, for what it’s worth, I read the Breitbart article just now and can’t tell if it’s real or not. It’s War on Christmas season. This sort of thing happens every year so I’m sure it’s real.
Youkai come from Japanese Shinto traditions so are difficult to fit into a Judeo-Christian box but on average a youkai would be considered mischievous if not malevolent. When Pokemon came out, there was a backlash against it for promoting evolution and occult. This game has a lot more occult in it than Pokemon ever…
Deep down, Bethesda titles are just tidying up simulators.
I’m surprised people aren’t freaking out about a game which has kids befriending demons. People are too focused on freaking red cups to give this the controversy it needs to become a mega hit like Pokemon and Harry Potter.
Congrats on the upcoming award, Jason!
Will there be an ethics in games journalism award?
What about Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis? It was awesome.
You won’t get improved texture mods on Xbox or PS4.
