Each Persona game is self contained and has its die-hard fans. There’s nothing stopping you from jumping in on any game. Personally, if you have a Vita or Vita TV, I would recommend starting with Persona 4 Golden.

I’d love to see a game in the style of 4 or Bloodlines but Iga started working on Castlevania with SotN so with Iga comes Metroidvania style not classic style.
