I’m still sour the Evo is gone... Owned 2. My 12 X was my first new car purchase ever from a dealer I wanted an unmolested one so badly... Ponied up $44 grand for a nicely optioned one and had it a few years before I sold it to go to Manhattan for awhile.

All cars knock during certain events that are not always common or likely but it does happen. They then quickly back off timing and decrement their octane number in the ECU which helps it over time figure out if it’s bad fuel or just normal operation.

Kinda wish the Evolution X made the list. Overseas they were sold as high as 470hp with a warranty. Car designed in early 2000s.

Yeah but the first gen Insight with just a kswap at 220hp eats corvettes because the whole car is Aluminum. 1500ish pounds at 220hp is like a 3000lb car with 440hp.

Huge thing for me... I’d much rather work on a 4 cylinder than a V6 cramped in there. Looks easily accessible and likely performance parts such as a turbo or different GEMA engine swap is likely possible.

Got an all Aluminum used car that gets 600+ miles to a basic 10 gallon tank, wont rust away, spy on me, or need to be plugged in.
