VW Caddy, small unibody, many swapped to diesel power easily get 50mpg. Still has a rather decent sized rear bed. Independent suspension.

Woah, could have *swore* I seen someone in a Morgan 3 wheeler on Woodward the other day and I was surprised how big it was. I just thought it was someone’s custom coming out for dream cruise.

Chicken tax prevents any “unAmerican” import from giving us the small truck we want. Why would American automakers sabotage making something we would buy? Because bigger more expensive trucks are currently their number 1 product and bread & butter. 

I’d *love* one of those AZ-1's... 1547lbs and turbo 650cc engine seems surreal.

Maybe it’s just me but I want what doesn’t really exist.... I’d prefer to have a 10 acre farm with rolling green hills, privacy, a few out buildings, but then less then 1 acre away a full city to get anything I need.

Yeah but the 1st gen Insight was all Aluminum and way lighter than a Miata... like even the lightest of all generations Miata was 2400lbs... Insight with the hybrid battery removed is easily 1600-1500lbs...

Insight was first by almost a year. 1999 release in america.

Didn’t see any mention of the joke from the fact their gas Aluminum gas engines were called the “Aluminator”.

With small turbo engines, everyone thinks they want a big turbo until they drive it and have absolutely zero power below 3000rpm.

Would love to pit that against my 1500lb 68 horsepower Aluminum car.....

I don’t know why and I’m not trying to be negative, but I find these just unreadable compared to pretty much everything else on the site.

I use these when turning pulleys in cramped spaces to spin engines to TDC.

Diesel isnt slow. 6 and 7 liter diesels are making 450hp or more now stock.
