Reminds me of the rule that if they light you up AFTER you pull in the driveway, it’s not a legal stop.
Autos don’t get better mileage than similarly equipped manuals.
Many are tricked by autos getting better fuel-efficient gearing than the equivalent manual transmission.
Also automatic cars tend to have more tuning around cylinder deactivation that manual cars won’t get because they can’t forcefully keep you from doing…

No they lied and downrated them to 43. Also the ECU flash after the recall raised electric only speed to 70 which vastly made the car better.
