Richer on diesel generally is hotter but at the crazy end of the drag racing spectrum if you go rich enough it starts cooling... but we are talking super super rich.... way into massive smoke zone. No normal diesel will do that. Black smoke is unburned fuel from lack of air and almost always means hot EGTs.

I prefer the peace of mind of diesel... no chance of pre combustion because there’s no fuel until I’m ready for it to combust.

Kinda how I go 650 miles on 10 gallons of diesel while making more torque than the F150....

Just spit out my coffee! Props...

Dont make him an Escape Goat.... but I have to give you Escalades for thaat post. Well done.

You should write reviews but in the exact same tone almost like one of those places where you order food and they insult you. Had an odd way of getting the point across perfectly while throwing in a bunch of personal information that made us all slightly uncomfortable...... but it *worked*.

Well you kind of contradict yourself....

Dude a base 2 wheel drive v8 charger is like 4500 lb. This has 4 wheel drive, OHC V8, twin turbochargers, water to air intercooler, a luxury focused interior, similar dimensions yet weighs 250 lbs less then a basic pushrod V8 vehicle lacking the above.... it's hella impressive for what it is.

Read all that expecting the manual transmission rant.... And surprised you like an auto!?!?

I’m mostly impressed that this thing has a V8, twin turbos, water-to-air intercooler separate from the main cooling system, four-wheel drive and it still weighs a few hundred pounds less than a standard V8 charger. Its light!

Mostly due to diesel not wasting fuel maintaining an air to fuel ratio.

Id be checking them out if a diesel Infinity was sold here.... sad.

VW didnt test the VR engine on the veyron first.... they put a smaller one in a jetta to prove it out.

I think that applies to Runaway diesels more than other engines.

My 03 with 311000 Miles still has 490 PSI in each cylinder roughly. But it is a diesel though perhaps I’ll throw the gasoline cylinder head on it once it’s wore out and in the 150 to 200 PSI range...... and drive it another 300k.

I know these are handling cars but 6k for 225?

Id rather see them go to a hardworking family with 1 car that needs a 2nd...

I first read that as “Picinic Sniffers” snuck into the top ten..

Advertising a closed-deck engine block....

Almost spit my drink all over the keyboard.....
