Is always GM. Buick just took over from the Pontiac Sunfire which was the other convertible to have one car.

Just wanted to chime in I *only* purchase manual transmission vehicles.

Slide it back over time? Just skip buying the oneone with the engine in the passenger seat and all is good once it is in the back seat :)

Take your star sir.....

Must must be hard when that simple menial factory job provided a house, a boat, a camper, jet skis and weekend toys.... and a pension after not saving any retirement money to buy all those toys.

I’d be embarrassed to be seen driving an automatic muscle car.....

This this looks like more than a slight update of the previous powertrain.

Eventually you will realize you are more conservative than you think. Doesnt instantly mean you want guns and no abortion.

“ driving around in Jon Voight’s car”

RPM only went to 11K....

Original seller knows what the first buyer got.

For everyone freaking out about the price, look it up these cars hold amazing value.

Heh, in the Diesel world that’s a goal considering we start with a motor that made 90hp stock at the crank.

Atlantic Blue?

It can *definitely* be more durable than a larger V8. Because the V8 wasn’t “expected” to see the same levels of load and likely would be built with weaker cast engine parts.

Yeah but aren’t Fords full of plastic under the hood? How durable is a plastic intake? Or is it just designed so that resulting vacuum leak will whistle and the oversized engine can still move down the road?

That Metro looks remarkably like an R5 Turbo 2

I own one of these, mine is a 2000.

Wait these weren't sold here? I have seen two different examples on craigslist over the years here in Michigan. Did I pass something special up? Could have bought an AWD 5spd for 8k and passed. It was an ugly brown and not in the best condition. Were none sold here at all?

Cant wait until someone swaps an ALH in one.
