After beating DS3 on PS4 I went back to play DS2: SOTFS on PS4 as well and was severely thrown off by the 60FPS. It’s a totally different experience in 60FPS, IMO.

Ingress similarly destroyed battery life. Back when I was playing it heavily (2012-2013) I had to carry around a battery pack with me. I expected Pokemon Go to be pretty similar in this regard. Were people really expecting to be able to go out all day catching Pokemon without a battery pack?
I had the opposite experience with mine. Lag and jank all over the place, even after several factory resets. The 808 just isn’t a great processor, IMO. The MXPE also has, in my opinion, the most annoying vibration motor to ever grace a phone. If you need a phone that sounds like a freight train when it goes off, the…

Personally, I only buy generic basics: stuff like pasta, butter (check the ingredients though), eggs, cheese, mustard, naproxen, antibacterial wipes, etc. Every single generic ketchup I’ve tried has been awful, same with mayo. If I’m having one of those “I feel like eating like a toddler” days, it’s gotta be Kraft Mac…
Just installed on my 6s Plus. Nice keyboard. I’ve been waiting for a 3rd party keyboard on iOS that I could type as accurately with as the iOS keyboard, but that supported swipe typing. The Microsoft Word Flow keyboard was beautiful and well thought-out, but the number of errors I made with that keyboard were…
It took me 2 hours yesterday...2 hours! to beat those damn silver knights on the stairs at Anor Londo. Wrecked the boss in 1 try. WTF, DS3?
Meh. I’ll continue buying vitamin C tablets (they’re cheap) when I feel a cold coming on because, in the last 10 years (since I started taking vitamin C when I feel a cold coming on) I have not had the “worst” symptoms of a cold last any longer than a day. If a $5 bottle of vitamin C tablets every year keeps me from…
I’m worried that it is going to be a laggy mess. The demo lagged enough on my PS4, especially when you’re older Noctis. There was a report a couple of weeks ago that SE is “targeting” 30FPS, but if they cannot get there they’ll have to figure something else out. That does not bode well for the performance of the game.…
You can swipe up to get her to light the torch, and swipe down to extinguish it. I can’t remember if this same functionality extends to the flaming arrows or not. Been a while since I played it.
I’ve never gotten more than 5 on my launch day DS4. It is truly horrendous
The only game that I thought the touchpad used well was Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. Being able to swipe up on the touchpad for fire was a neat gimmick that I find myself missing in RoTR on Xbone.
Right, Waze chews through battery. They even flash that screen when you quit navigation that Waze is going to sleep. No, don’t go to sleep, stop everything...I don’t need you anymore.
I live with a roommate and generally only cook dinner. We still have a full dishwasher at the end of the night. We also only have enough plates/bowls/forks and spoons for 4 people, so stuff gets used up quickly throughout the day. We both work from home most days of the week so that compounds the issue
@burps25 I’m on 30mg of Vyvanse that I take around 6AM every morning (except Saturday and Sunday). The only antidepressant I have ever been on was Wellbutrin (prescribed for ADHD) and it made me severely nauseous no matter when I took it. I’ve been meaning to have a sleep study done...just seems daunting.
Thanks for the detailed response! I’ll definitely give tryptophan a try. I didn’t know 5-HTP depended on light/no light for chemical conversion. Very interesting. I’ve always had sleep issues, so I consider my sleep hygiene to be pretty decent. All of my devices red-shift at sundown (even my TV, thanks to a rooted…
I tried using 5-HTP at several points in my life and always had weird experiences with it. It wouldn’t make me sleepy at night, but would make me sleepy in the morning, along with a whole bunch of brain fog.
If your wife is a 28 year old balding muscular man then yes, I fit that bill. Hi honey.
I didn’t sleep at all last night, and now I’m at work dragging terribly. No amount of coffee can wipe this sleepless funk away. I long for my youth when I could stay up days at a time on Mtn Dew...I’m too damn old now
I’ve got a wicked receding hairline that is thinning fast up top, but I can’t bring myself to go bald. My head was completely shaved a couple of years ago after a brain injury and I hated the way I looked. This might just be vanity talking, but I feel as if there are some men who will just never look good bald, so…
