... And Barry has to move out, thus leaving Sally alone... at the address Fuchs is offering up for revenge...

These articles are fine, but they are definitely more recaps than reviews. I find myself having to delve down into the comments for insights and opinions.

You had ONE LINE, Post Malone. ONE LINE.

The part problem is that Paula Patton is just...”meh” on top all the other reasons she never became a thing.

I’m glad you acknowledged what some of us have spotted for a while now. Tom Cruise has given younger actors, and younger women particularly, star-making roles. Emily Blunt and Rebecca Ferguson are the two biggest examples, but Paula Patton was allowed to shine (and did nothing with the boost, but that’s another topic)

Looks like this movie has critics jumping off the deck and shoving into overdrive.

One thematic thread that seems to be pulsing under the surface is that both Barry and Sally have been coping with their past trauma by exploiting it to further their acting careers rather than by trying to reckon with it in an honest way.

I’m hoping at most Obi-Wan will see Vader and realize Anakin isn’t dead, and that’s it. If they duel it’ll be the stupidest shit ever.

I’ve come around to I’m totally okay with another Obi-Wan/Vader rematch, I buy it. Show hasn’t even started yet but I’m good. Obi-Wan goes from “you were my brother, Anakin!” to “He’s more machine now than man, twisted and evil” so something could have changed his mind.

I think it’s probably intentional that Sally is someone who we know survived an abusive relationship and is using that abusive relationship for her tv show. The fact that we’re seeing that cycle perpetuate with an - at best - unhealthy relationship is likely very much on purpose.

I can see both Chloe and Natalie finding out about Barry’s secret; Chloe through some helpful investigating, Natalie through resentment boiling over into hiring a hitman to kill Sally.

This was a really funny episode. Three lines that got big laughs from me and my gal stand out: the breaking-up woman’s simple explanation (as their dogs chased Gene through their yard) after her lover listed all the good things about their relationship, “you have too many dogs;” Gene’s asking a kind stranger on the

Damn, they are going full-boar with Barry completely losing it. There were a few times Hader legit scared me this episode. Dude’s have a full on psychosis meltdown. His eyes.
