Christopher Reeves’ Clark Kent was really the only attempt to address to stupidity of the secret identity. His physicality of CK was so completely different. I think future iterations were afraid to steal the concept of the geeky Kent.

The Terence Malik-inspired Man of Steel teaser had so much promise, especially with that inspirational Jor-El voice over (and an assist from Lord of the Rings soundtrack). Still waiting for that “accomplish wonders” part.

Not sure that’s true. I’ve looked through a lot of his arguments, and haven’t found any that are really valid. Most are just distraction and emotional manipulation.
