For me, the simpler explanation of the phrase is: Stop treating black lives as if they don’t matter.

Welcome to BMW’s buck-toothed era.

I’ve been in the Porsche clubhouse before, 40 years ago with a third-hand 911E. I was your stereotypical Southern California bachelor dude with disposable income. Ah, the good old days. I’ve always liked the 944. To me it said, “You’re still a dude, but you know the meaning of ‘enough.’”

I will be glad to see the current squashed toad design go away.

Since BMW grills haven’t actually been kidney-shaped in quite a while, maybe it’s time to use a different descriptor. How about nostril-shaped?

Ain’t that the way it goes? We always want something different.

I had one, too. My first 100% new car. The only problem I had was the end of the clutch cable breaking off during my commute. The US version had round sealed beam headlights and a clunky 5MPH bumper I lusted after the lights and bumpers on the Euro version.

Isolation alone? Piece of cake. Isolation with a team? Just kill me now.

“It was like an edible crispy box of meat.” Whereas the Renault was an inedible shiny box of disappointment.

Does the Go Devil even have 1,000 pieces?

Also, the 70s were a time of massive Greek architecture-inspired grills. It’s what people were buying. People weren’t buying the Pacer — partly because it was AMC, but mostly because the design was WAY out of the mainstream and buyers’ comfort level. I suspect AMC hoped a more prominent grill would bump sales.

There have been so many cars where the first year of a new design had a perfect front end. They had spent so long on it and got it just right. Then, when it was time to “freshen” the look so you could tell the newer models from the older ones, it’s like they turned the job over to an intern and gave a before-lunch

Due to the family’s meager financial situation, and the need for two cars, Mom was condemned to driving a Simca for several years. She said they must not have winter in France, because the heater was useless.

It also shares styling cues with the ‘21 Sienna, which will also be hybrid-only. Same platform, perhaps?

Maybe the driver shared my distaste for the front end styling and tried to modify it.

Maybe they tried building a sea wall with wrecks. ;D

Puttin’ the shag in shaggin’ wagon.

Forget the money for a moment. How do you want to spend the limited hours of your life?

If they used Audis would they put four small speakers in the grill?

“...what a joy it is knowing that my J10 is, at least mechanically, at 100 percent.” So those scabby looking shocks still function?
