I know his comment history. I tend to disagree with the dude most of the time, but I still don't find this creepy, just shallow.

It wasn't all he thought of though. He also mentioned her singing. Even so, someone's attractiveness coming to mind immediately may be shallow, but it's not very creepy at all.
OH MY GOD THAT'S KATHRINE HIEGL?!!!!
Latina with a white man, feelin' both of you.
People in Los Angeles are predominately not white
As a Trojan I might be tempted to insult UCLA, but I have to agree with you on this one, UCLA is quite racially diverse and doesn't have a particular problem with racism that the rest of the US/world doesn't have. Probably less of one actually.
I agree that it was most likely an Asian man who wrote that sign, but they are not the only people who resent the Asian woman stereotype (aside from most Asian women themselves, of course). I am a latina who grew up in an area of East LA that was majority Latino but had a very large minority of Asians (and…
Not that all of that isn't true, fascinating, and sad, but it is still a bit confusing as to why Asian women are specifically a story of bravery and love. I mean, certainly many are, but it is an odd way to specifically characterize a group.
Though I am giving major side-eye to the way this person voiced that particular comment, as an Angeleno I have to say it probably wasn't a white guy who wrote that. Not that we don't have racist white people, but we have so much racial mixing that I don't see that aspect of it being the main target of the note.
I agree. I actually think it was almost certainly not written by a white guy.
Wrong boy band.
Jay-Z is the person I hear most about, but probably the only black artist I hear about being a member of the Illuminati at all.
My little sister is 15, very popular, and has a flip phone. And my mom would not let her upgrade it to a smart phone even if she saved the money. She has lots of friends, talks to them on the phone and the computer when she is allowed on, and is not in misery and social isolation without an iPhone.
I knew who the author of this article was from the syntax of the headline. So, uh, good job on creating a distinctive voice, Lindy. I guess.
Well said. You don't win friends and allies this way and you alienate Christians that might otherwise support your cause. I mean, you can go ahead and have a moral-superiority fuck 'em attitude, but that's not going to help the cause at all. Just makes you feel cool about yourself.
Tupac was a convicted rapist. Musical genius too, of course. Chris Brown is neither, so I guess the point still stands.
I've heard him talk about how much he loves Canada and would never want to be an American citizen. Appreciates the healthcare and all that.
My family came here legally from Mexico and do not want to withhold amnesty from illegal immigrants just because they managed to become relatively successful in their immigrant community.
I mean, I know why people are bringing up abortion here, but WHY are people bringing up abortion here? There is nothing to indicate that this was driven by any sort of anti-abortion movement.
I'm pretty much right there with you. I am feeling really weird about all of this.
