Not me. I'll still be fawning over the Daniel Craigs of the world.

Unless these particular men don't treat women this way (not referring to the guy in the article, but perhaps Ari or other not asshole dudes).
I'm just surprised we haven't yet.
I completely agree with vanessaxo.
Ego much?
I'm just so tired of the phrase "War on [Blank]".
Behind this 100%
Tomorrow will be awesome.
And seriously... nowhere did I say it was for the benefit of people of color. I am a woman of color and not Christian so I have no agenda to push here except to say my people aren't fucking stupid. Colonizers used Christianity to oppress, but the Bible had positive messages in it that can encourage the oppressed. I am…
I'm not ignoring it, but nowhere in the Bible does it say this message only applies to white people. White people just used it that way.
Bullshit, the founders of Christianity were not white by today's standards. I am not saying Christianity was and is not a tool of oppression, but I am saying it isn't only a tool of oppression.
I really don't blame him.
Understandable. I guess it might be difficult to comprehend if you've never been religious. The reason I began to pull away from religion was not anything to do with oppression, just disgust in the priest-pedophilia thing (former Catholic).
Thanks but no thanks to the cultural Stockholm Syndrome.
Catholics are largely democrat.
Yeah except most activism is done by wealthy Americans who can afford the alternatives to the mainstream things that is being boycotted. It's the vast population of the less affluent who need to use this resource in order to make a living that would mess up a boycott.
It's hard to know how to feel because the Marines turned my dad's life around for the better in many ways (from a poor Mexican neighborhood, was getting into gangs and drugs and stuff like that) and he remembers his days as a drill instructor pretty fondly, but I guess I never realized that there are people out there…
America is not a beacon of equality but we actually have codified laws protecting women's rights that the majority of our country and government wants to uphold. All countries suppress particular groups rights to some extent (or try to) but let's not go around acting like they all do it to the same degree.
So this Thanksgiving holiday I accidentally discovered that my dad is a Vietnam veteran. It was my mom, my cousin, my cousin's boyfriend (who is in the Army) and my aunt, and my cousin asked my mom exactly what my dad did while he was a Marine and I guess the alcohol and holiday stress made the question catch her even…
Oh yes, in general, but I was being Jezebel-specific.
