An attempt at replacing the MiG-21 with a better design and being able to carry a more powerful radar. It had to many issues, including the engine blowing up at + Mach 2 so it was eventually cancelled. The radar made it to the MiG-23, though.

1. You are comparing a prototype with the final product, for starters. If you really wanted to be fair about it, you should have used YF-22 or the X-35, which wasn’t exactly the cleanest of planes...

Hardly a fanboy. I’ve just read enough on russian equipment to not tow the “Russians suxxxxssss lololollooll!!!!1111” party line, and there are many misconceptions and general stupidity on russian equipment and doctrine perpetuated by Hollywood.

Inferior to the F-22 in stealth?. Yes, it is true.

Just because it doesn’t look like one of Lockheed’s design, doesn’t mean it isn’t a 5th Gen jet. The Russians just opted going about it a different way and applied different solutions to achieve similar results in certain areas.

Except they haven’t dropped...they are even getting their jets earlier in exchange of foregoing local manufacturing.

So, can you actually post without personal attacks or is that all you can do?.

Because it is a modified MiG-21. Or rather, based on it.

Don’t think so. Cockpit glass tends to be around 2 inches(maybe even more) thick, and its made of several layers of perspex and mineral glass.

Now playing

The same way they’d land in heavy fog when you can’t see shit

As I mentioned to someone else in another comment, even the Typhoon’s design isn’t that unique

If the PAK-FA isn’t a 5th Gen, then I guess that would make the F-35 even less of 5th gen...

Russia “beat” the Europeans to the Typhoon in the 60’s though

I tried to look up the meaning of the symbols on his cars(apparently in some rally car he raced, he put them as well) but I can only find Czech pages and mentions of something called Zitö 44. And google translate is shit when it comes to Czech.

You can have it both ways, actually...

I was thinking just that after reading this line.

Yes, they are.

I can’t play racing game from a third-person POV, not even Trackmania. I just simply suck at it.

They were successful, as far as I remember but never implemented. Though there are claims that the Su-35S could fire the R-73 backwards...

It is connected. The oxygen enters underneat the mask in that particular, really old, model
