Or, in this context, most of the desert southwest. When you’re running summer tires year round, you don’t need AWD to put power down.
Feel free to interpret that however you want. But anything other than head work is just as easy in a flat engine as it is in a vertical one.
In foul weather, the AWD will stand out. However, I honestly don’t believe that even 25% of Subaru owners do use the AWD well during the car’s life. Subarus are crazy popular here in California, where I’m SURE only a handful ever make it to the few snowy parts of the state. I see plenty in other desert states as well.

Realistically, size = superiority. But everyone tells themselves that size = safety.
That one looks a bit more professional than a sandbag job, it’s probably on air springs.
Damn, I can’t imagine how many Smurfs they needed to skin.
My Dad, a musician, for a brief point, had a special-edition, black-and-white Volkswagen Beetle Fender Stratocaster. This was a few years ago. There is definitely a connection there.
Koenigseggs aren’t designed to sound or look pretty. The owner leaves no doubt - the cars are designed with absolute performance in mind, and any beauty is just a coincidence.
