My wife got me an exotic car driving experience at New Jersey Motorsports Park.  Granted it was only two laps but to push a Ferrari F430 around track and get it up to 120 on the front straight was really memorable.

NP, although for me I’d have its Magnum brother. I wouldn’t want to be associated as a Charger driver though...Whenever you see shit on social media or the internet with street takeovers, burnouts in crowds etc its almost always chargers or challengers these days. 

Seems like a reasonable enough price for some V8 fun in this market. I wouldn’t daily it with California’s gas prices, but it would make a nice change of pace car to go along with a more economical commuter. Kudos to the seller for not giving the car the full douchebro makeover with blacked out lights and other tacky…

I agree. Real world applications are probably WAY down the road, but that kind of thing is how we get there.

One of the largest sources of methane, which is both a greenhouse gas and potentially could be used as fuel, is cow farts.

Unironically, I imagine these motorsports applications will actually provide some good research opportunities for the fuel.

As long as car collectors, V6 muscle car dudebros, Instagram influencers, car YouTubers, and Jay Leno get to keep that glorious noise, I don’t think anyone will care.

But seriously, in a world increasingly trying (and mostly unsuccessfully) transitioning to carbon-neutral, this may become revolutionary for cold weather…

I'd argue government subsidies and mandates did more for EVs than Elon. Elon is great at the PT Barnum routine, but making EVs cool for affluent people just isn't as big a deal as people make it out to be.

Someone had a similar comment in a recent article about this and then got flooded with math comments about how a new Honda Pilot with some features & AWD (or Telluride, or Atlas, or pick your common SUV) comes out around $800/mo for 60 months with 10% down…
