HELL YES. The urban legend around this is that once the Daimler deal went through, Mercedes told Chrysler they could play around with their parts bin to make what they want. Then when the dopey yanks actually made something AMAZING, the Germans were so embarrassed that they kiboshed the whole thing.

Since the ME Four Twelve is taken, I’ll swing the Mopar-that-could-have-been pendulum to the other end, and pick the Dodge Demon concept.

The Cadillac Sixteen was a masterpiece that would have given Cadillac the Bugatti of sedans, but I think GM did realize beating Rolls-Royce at their own game was beyond their willingness to open the money purse.

Chrysler Atlantic.

The original star wars films should be in the canadian public domain now but Disney manipulated my government.

Looking forward to the Gollum Gobble Up mobile game.

None of the Ecoboost engines sound good, regardless of cylinder count or displacement, but the Raptor engine definitely takes the cake.

I still mourn that we got the Dart instead of the Giulietta on which it was based... Imagine instead of a bloated CUV we’d gotten this, with AWD and a bunch of HP:

God those trucks are dumb, and yes the SUPER loud exhaust’s sound like shit same goes for the loud ass diesels with the 6 inch exhaust tips.  Once had a Harley drive past the store I worked at and you could STILL hear that thing from like 4 miles away.  I was outside smoking and I could tell you exactly what road it

Dang almost forgot about these.  There’s a few around here with aftermarket exhausts that don’t do them any favors.

I hate this because dodge could have done something like this with the dart and other FCA compacts just in the last decade. They make a performance compact NOW and its in the shape of a bulbous CUV. At least the Kona and GLA are relatively low in height and look as much, this doesn’t. Its complete nonsense. I also

Can’t tell if trolling, or if these were just the only engines you could name...

I’m showing my age. Iron Duke immediately came to mind.
2nd pick would be my parents 2010 2.5 Outback with the CVT.

Kona N already did it.

The engine and trans alone would fetch $20k easy. Viper motors are getting REALLY hard to find in good working condition and get crazy money now.

Methinks some of you are too young to remember truly horrible sounding engines:

I’d have to go with the Ecoboost Ford Raptors. IMO, this sound does not match the looks of the truck.

What ever that clapped out shit those 16 year old squatting kids use. It sounds as bad as the trucks look. You can hear them coming a half mile away, and going 2 miles away. It’s like a Harley with 8 cylinders, and 5x as loud. I get it. Me and my friends were dumb kids too. But this generation is some next level shit.

Ever since the ‘94 redesign, they’ve been my favorites--from a looks standpoint.
