New Mazda 3 just looks like it had its butt amputated.

Anything but BLACK! This is my third black car, it looks great clean, but that lasts maybe a day or two. Every imperfection shows, it gets overly-hot in the summer, looks like crap in winter. I’m tired of it. Give me lime green or purple or orange, but no more black!
He really is a pestilence on this site.
Why is Subaru so averse to more power? Every single brand has probably increased power outputs by 30-50% over the last decade. Except Subaru. STI’s been around 300hp for 15 years. WRX has improved maybe 15%? They’ve dropped the turbo or V6 option on most offerings. And the debacle of the BRZ with it’s torque dip has…
I was waiting for this! Good call.
I’m a Mustang guy. That owned a Boss 302. My head still jumps to Mike Shinoda anytime I hear that name.
Unfortunately you’re right. While the engine on my Boss had no issues (when I owned it), the transmission and clutch were garbage. I wasn’t designed to rev high which is a bad idea in a high-revving V8. And the clutch pressure plate wouldn’t engage properly, causing the clutch pedal to stick to the floor, especially…
And in that color!!!
I’m guessing Protestants and Baptists are weird too. Worcester, MA is pronounced wooster. Murfreesboro, TN is pronounced murf-iss-burra. Get off your high horse.
Part of the agreement of the sale is to keep it publicly opened and promote it as a tourist destination, especially for their Chinese clientele. Miitime will build a hotel near the area and rumors/expectations of a drag strip and oval track as well.
So glad this is finally official! I’m from SLC, but had been living in Dallas for years and had access to 2 tracks relatively nearby. Some circumstances forced me to move back to SLC and this was my biggest worry- the track would eventually close.
ANUSTART
As a PT it’s great to hear this! Well... not the accident/injury, that sucks, and I’m sorry you had to go through it. But I’m happy to hear how well you recovered.
I’ve always had a fondness for New Edge. The right size, relatively low weight, great visibility and the sound! My first 2 Mustangs were New Edge so I’m biased but it’s a style they wouldn’t have to do much to modernize today. In fact, I always felt the ‘15-’17 were a homogenized s197 and New Edge.
You even got the blacked-out pillars. Nice.
The sad thing is, too many people think like that! Have a work friend (and decently intelligent guy) just purchased a new Jetta. You know what he loved about it? “It’s got a backup camera and this lane keeping stuff and auto braking and stop/start system and blah, blah...” This current world makes me sad.
This is how I feel about all these awful politician commercials.
WRXs. They’re everywhere here in SLC. And one of the few MT cars that’ll get you to the slopes.
Damn, these were my first favorite car. Everything about them is perfect (excluding reliability).
