The problem there is the enforcers of the cartels are or were in the military. The cartels pay more than the government does so they use their training to help the cartels. In a way, a cruel kind of martial law is already in effect.

I agree. Even though the quality of the iPad seems to be universally accepted as the best, I feel most people buy it because other people buy it. It's more of an accessory than a gadget to most people. I want the opportunity to choose what features and manufacturers I want.
