@Channan: Okay. But in my defense, his post did not look anything like a joke especially given the context of the article having some numbers that could not have a prayer's chance in a hot place of being substantiated.

@Rob C: Granted, business isn't supposed to be fun but it isn't supposed to be like being stuck in an elevator every time you want to do anything with it.

@Channan: eh... Maybe you're right. You get to call me Sir Buzz Killington for a day.

@ebe3692: That's why I love Sprint. In NYC, I get excellent service and they leave my pockets alone. Best of both worlds for me.

@maythetechbewithyou: I am not so sure that would have been a smart idea on Microsoft's part. Add what drivers? The very next thing that came out of their camp was the Kin.

@Tom Spettigue: I strongly agree with your statements. If the consumer accepts crap, crap will be served.

@cec: MG was the one I had in mind when I was referring to that bucket of salt. He doesn't even try to hide his bias.

@cec: I did not read the source article but TechCrunch seems to be populated with Apple loyalists so I take anything I see from them with many buckets of salt.

@cec: I think it was supposed to drum up hope for dissatisfied WinMo loyalists. Microsoft did not put much effort into WinMo and consumers want to know that they will actually try this time.

@Almightywhacko: ... provided they refrained from the "hipster" advertising angle.

@KTope: ...I'm not sure you would have the capital needed to buy his services in the first place.

@akuma_619: With Android, the upgrades are compatible. They are built on the same platform.

@wanderingrabbi: Either you're putting the cart before the horse or you're truly drunk with Apple's Kool-Aid.

@angryoaf: For me, it has been better because I get to see if the application is worth it to me before shelling out pesos.

@bsegovia: I really hope that the emergence of Froyo helps with the quality of the applications because the best game I have played on Android is Asphalt 5 and that game flirts with 100MB. Having the ability to move a bunch of applications to SD helps a lot.

@rebelduck37001: So, you tend to care about looks more than performance or practicality?

@taniquetil: I feel fortunate to have both the Evo and the Touch Pro 2 because I will be very ready to upgrade to WP7 because there is nothing really redeeming enough about WinMo to stick with it.

@snarky30: I think you're on point with your assessment.

@espinha: I believe it's just Verizon and their way of milking people's wallets.

@Pzychotix: I cannot relate to your experiences because the Shure headphones with the in-line mic have great sound quality.
