@coldfuzion: I don't think they will have to place the Mic deep in the jack. They can place the Mic to the near left or right of the jack and have the opening of the jack let the sound pass through to the mic. This idea can work well if implemented properly.

@JMH: It seems pretty simple to me. Who would use the headphones and the built-in mic on the phone if the headphones have mics in them? When you plug it in, you won't be using the built-in mic anymore anyway so there is no need to buy any other peripherals.

@sugardeath: That's precisely why this a great idea. Many headphones have in-line mics now so it is likely that you'll use one or the other at a given time.

@wanderingrabbi: How can you possibly tell if something works if you and no one you know owns one?

@Zool SD: ...um... isn't that the same thing?

@El_Mexicutioner: I understand your logic and thank you for the well-wishes.

@mutelight: I thought about that. While I have an Evo, I rely on my lagtastic Touch Pro 2. I really don't care which platform is "better" only because UIs of today mirror each other in terms of ease-of-use, functionality, and how appealing they are to the eye.

@Fourth Liver: That didn't seem harsh to me. Say what you mean and we'll take it from there.

@El_Mexicutioner: Doesn't change the fact that it super sucks when you know you have the dude dead-to-rights and you suddenly start firing soap bubbles.

@mutelight: I see that you look at everything literally or try to find a victim where there is none. Believe it or not, people who do similar things to the rest of the crowd actually are similar to the crowd. The device is just one sign of being a follower. There are other signs as well. As stated before, the device

@El_Mexicutioner: As far as lag goes, it really does suck to stab a dude and have nothing happen only for the victim to realize he should finally do something and he gets credit for the kill. Or the dude that shoots you before he even shows up on your screen because his connection is garbage.

@Wolf in command: I think his statement was merely theoretical rather than factual.

@douglasf13: There is a dating/friendship site called OKCupid.

@OMG! British Dinosaur!: I think you may look at it a little too literally. The device itself isn't the problem. It is the culture that is associated with it.

@geowrian: For every action, there is a consequence. Skin color isn't an action.

@OMG! British Dinosaur!: From my experiences, the blanket you speak of is a symbol of the trends and fads in this country's culture. No one seems to want to be left out in the cold and run to be covered in that blanket.
