What’s the big deal again? The previous generation also had a retractable hardtop.

Loved this, thanks for sharing it.

I got sick of hearing this as well which is why I sold my motorcycle.

But... the photo is of the White Mountains from the Kangamangus highway (I also really recommend this ride or drive)

You must be fun at orgies.

I think part of the problem is that the Wrangler is a ‘lifestyle brand’ similar to Harley Davidson or Apple. Sure, there might be better options out there but that’s what everyone identifies with and ultimately purchases.

I was able to convince my dad to buy a lightly used one recently. We’ve been trucking together through the dunes this Summer.

Driving in the back seat has fuck all to do with this topic. But thank you.

Yikes, didn’t notice.

The mileage is important to me in terms of resale value. I’ll buy a used vehicle and drive it for about 3 years before I sell it privately. I average less than 10k miles per year.

I understand the pain. I think there are a number of reasons why the small trucks aren’t much more (if at all) more fuel efficient.

I stand corrected. Thanks.

This is why I ended up selling my Miata for a pickup. The truck is still a lot of fun, you just need to take it offroad.

I think with the right truck you should be able to get out of your dreams and into a 24mpg truck.

Been there, done that.

“If you’re buying a mid-size truck, you might want better gas mileage than a full-size truck. Otherwise, what’s the point, right?”
