There is nobody on Earth who wants Trump nudes.

Trump has gotten away with being a fraud, a criminal, and a conman his whole life. He got elected president on a platform of pure, transparent bullshit.  I can see why he thinks he’ll always get away with anything.

That memo would be so damning in a sane world. It shows Trump:

Trump also thinks it would be fine for him to say, “Investigate Biden or no aid.”

The White House has demonstrated that they won’t comply with transparency laws. That alone should be enough for impeachment.

No, I think it’s the cumulative effect of Trump’s constant corruption and the feeling that it’s intensifying.

Trump is good at corruption. He knows better than to explicitly say something damning.

Honestly, it’s the only strategy available since Trump decided that he’s going to be openly corrupt.

That jives with what I thought.  I was confused by the article including Children of the Corn in a list of movies that throw out the King story.

The movie version of Children of the Corn chucks out the story?  I’m surprised because the summaries I’ve read sound pretty close.

I agree that the movie ending is unnecessary, but I don’t hate it.

The best defense I could make of Trump’s mental abilities is that he just doesn’t care. Maybe he could speak coherently about...something, but he doesn’t bother because he knows it doesn’t matter.

These folks really live in a parallel reality.  It’s really hard to understand from the outside/actual reality.

If one of my parents talked like Trump, I’d be having uncomfortable conversations with the rest of the family about long term care options.

He might think this is a useful distraction. I also think he sees a useful political cudgel. He likes anything that lets him talk shit about liberal cities and activate the culture war centers of conservative brains.

I carry a bag that fits under the seat in front of me.  I lose a bit of foot room, but I never have to worry about overhead space.

We’re learning a lot about how people behave when it becomes clear they can get away with any lie.

Inflation is running below target and the economy is showing early signs of softness. A cut makes perfect sense.

I wouldn’t count on earning much interest in a bank account ever again.  I don’t think it’s going to make much difference if the Fed cuts the rate to 0% or raises it all the way up to 2%.  

Fair point.  I’d be surprised if Trump spoke intelligently about any policy topic or did anything that put the country’s interests before his own.
