Right on.  This is the scandal?  I had heard something vague about a photo scandal and I assumed it had to be something more than this.

I can’t watch anything with Sorkin-style fast patter dialogue. It reads as beyond pretentious on its own to me and the substance doesn’t help.

I agree with the thesis here and I go a bit further: A lot of movies should be 1 hour or less. I don’t think that’s commercially realistic and I wish it was.

Republicans seem to have switched from arguing that oligarchic policies will help everyone to arguing that non-oligarchic policies are immoral.  It’s penetrated some people’s brains.  Mostly people who think they’ll be better off with oligarchic policies anyway.

It’s sad that this sort of nonsense doesn’t turn off Republican voters.

If my friend asks me for a favor right after his spouse dies, my first thought is not going to be, “Is there any way this could become a problem?” It’s also not going to be, “Do I think this is how my friend should deal with his grief?”

I enjoyed Tales to Terrify. Each episode is a reading of a horror short story and there are some other short segments thrown in. I loved the original host, but he died a few years ago. The current host is good too, but I’d recommend listening at least up through the original host’s passing.
