I think that that's such an important part of the Doctor to consider/bring to light- as the Vengeful God (I don't remember exactly what he calls himself), there are so many things to explore with this kind of storytelling. I don't blame the show for skewing lighter, but, realistically, if you have a basically immortal

Totally unrelated, but: Sunshine is one of the best sic-fi movies, ever. Definitely top 5, for me.

Nope, none of those. I guess when I say close to, I mean a similar college in the same state. Kind of close, but also kind of far away.

I go to a school very near to (and very similar to) Oberlin: it's exactly that.

Mary quickly became my favorite character (maybe over Gus?).

Oh, I love Murray. What a sad, sweet person. I hope this works out well for him.

I know this will probably make people dislike and/or feel disgusted at my opinion, but I hate April and Andy as a couple. I love Andy when he's childish, innocent, and silly, but I absolutely cannot accept that someone like April would have more than a crush on him. I can see her thinking that maybe he'd be a fun

Sometimes I think he's worse than Piz…

It was just a fun, turn-your-brain-off-and-enjoy buddy flick. There's nothing wrong with that.

From what I remember…

I didn't know they were married! The "Gone" series got dark and heavy, quick. It was great.

It was very revolutionary (full of pathos and sympathy), given what I was reading then.

The rest of the series, though, not so much

There were talks, years ago, of making a film!!! And I was so excited! It got a little weird at the end, but it's such a great series.

It sure is something to watch at midnight, alone on your couch, covered in popcorn grease.

Green Hornet was fun, if you knew what you were getting into.

What a beautiful, surreal, wonderful film. I've done serval French projects on it, I love it so much.

I've heard that a lot of kids don't like it- it's too slow/"boring" for them (which, compared to traditional Disney Pixar films, I can kind of see)

Does the AV Club not like Monsters University? Is this new?

Carrot is one of Pratchett's best characters. There's so much he could do with him, that I'm surprised he hasn't focused a book on him yet.
