Angela Bassett should have been Storm, all others are pretenders.

The last line Jordan has is soooooo damn powerful.

Shuri was my daughter’s favourite, she absolutely loved the humour, intelligence and brightness that Wright brought to the character and screen, and it was so refreshing to see a young black woman as a scientist and engineer. I didn’t know how much we needed to see that until afterward and the pup was extolling her

All of the women are amazing, but Shuri is such a stand out. Her character is incredible and Letita Wright just killed her performance. In the comics Shuri was Black Panther for a while, and I would love love love a movie where she gets to take on the mantel. She was so kickass during the Korea sequence.

Saw it last night. Completely brilliant. Also Michael B. Jordan and Lupita Nyong’o are two of the most attractive people I’ve ever seen

I saw it last night. The original time that I wanted to see it was sold out with a line forming for it. For assholes that think it’s a movie “just for black people”, I guess some folks didn’t get the memo, because the line was filled with a wonderful mix of people, all excited for it. There was cheering at moments in

Saw this today and it was everything I had hoped for. I was in love with the very idea of this movie and was not disappointed with its execution. Do not be fooled into thinking this is “just a comic book movie.” This is an epic. It will give you life.

Deadpool approved.

There was a moment at the end when Micheal B. Jordan let a moment of vulnerability slip through all his rage. It was so authentic and perfectly acted—took my breath away.

I’ve been thinking about Black Panther all day. I know I can’t experience it the same way my black friends and neighbors can, but I was moved and thrilled. It’s smart, beautifully designed, exciting, heartfelt cinema that honors women and illuminates the many facets of African heritage belonging to people I love

I saw it last night — hands down, one of the best films Marvel Studios has done. It is well-written, well-shot and well-acted. The cast is unbelievable. And although I love Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan, the women absolutely steal the show, especially Danai Gurira and Letitia Wright. People talk about

I saw it last night. I didn’t think it would effect me, like it has. It is something special.

This movie may be historic in many ways: #BlackPantherSoLit “Schools and organizations have raised money in order to take kids to see it for free.”

You don’t need to see Civil War before you see this.

Not even going to read the article.....

I’m as black as they come, lol. **Fist bump**

I saw it last night, because Marvel was generous enough to release this on my birthday, and it was absolutely brilliant. My fiancé even wants to see it in theaters again, and she’s always resistant to go to the movies at all.

Just got back from seeing it and it was everything I hoped for and more.

I just bought a new dashiki and will be watching it dressed for the gods!
