I’m not disputing any of that.

Of course we can’t. These A**holes want to rehash it because they want to do it again in 2020, because of course it worked out so f*cking great in 2016.

Especially when those rules were laid out years (or decades in some cases) in advance. Clearly it’s a conspiracy to deny the victory to one specific candidate.

I’ll trade you “interesting” Donald Trump for “boring” Justin Trudeau any day of the week. :)

And yet, there are already signs he wants to run again in 2020. Gods, what a sh*tshow that would be. I would hope everyone would have learned their lesson by then, but, yeah, history and reality tell me ‘nope’. Sigh.

There are a lot of places in the US where air conditioning isn’t universally present. It’s usually places up north where the temperature usually isn’t hot enough to justify putting it in, as it only gets hot enough to use maybe a couple of months out of the year, so you’re better off just using fans and such. Now, to

I remember reading about some of the differences in the car dealership/sales model between the US and Japan, where in Japan, the salesmen often formed long lasting relationships with their customers, such that you’d keep coming back to the same guy each time.

I can see Fancy Kristen having a river of Pho installed in one of her (many) mansions.

It’s not about the hydrocarbons, it’s about liberating the oppressed peoples of Titan, and bringing democracy to them so that they can choose their own destiny and agree to enable BPShellChevExxon to invest in improving the local Titan economy with jobs.

Those people need to learn that fantasy and metal go together perfectly.

Depends on the govt work... One govt job I had, I was spending 84+/7 staring at the screen. ;)

Yep, on CD, or just digital now. Definitely great, because the time slips by and you won’t even notice.

Comedy on Sirius is great for road trips. Also, books on CD/MP3/etc. Really, be any sort of mentally engaging talking. I managed a solo drive from Tucson to Dallas in a single day that way, as well as a drive from Fort Hood to DC (with an overnight in Atlanta).

It’s basically another way of saying “Monopoly abuse”. At least as I’m reading it.

Yeah, I got a notice that my dealership is supposed to let me know when they have them in. It’s been months now, though I keep checking up.

I have a close friend that’s a manager at a Subaru dealership who’s offered to let me test drive a few, and get me a good deal if I decide I want one. So we’ll see - I’ll give it a chance at least. Getting one and adding a supercharger/etc is certainly an option that I’m not ruling out.

I suppose after driving a recent-ish Mustang GT for a few years, I’ve gotten used to being able to have that sort of acceleration available when I need (or want) it. Even if I don’t use it, it’s nice to know it’s there... and even then I still kinda want a little more. (I did pick my username for a reason, and all :)

I currently have a Mustang GT. I’d consider a motorcycle (and have before), but I’d probably end up as road pizza if I got the ones I’d want ;)

They would be about as pleasant to be on the road with as most BMW drivers, really.

I’m suddenly thinking that Biodefense mode on a Tesla might just be worth the entire price of the car, in a place like that.
