This is a good take. I hate the idea of a prolonged, awful primary season. I don’t know who I’d prefer to be the candidate he backs, but if he puts his full weight behind somebody, they could sail to the nom and have a full head of steam going into the general.

I’ve lived next door to Wisconsin all my life. What I’ve learned in that time is that there are a lot of really kind, generous, salt-of-the-earth people in Wisconsin. Unfortunately there is also a nearly equal number of racist, conspiratorial, heavily-armed lunatics.

Serious question: Have you guys ever considered just scrapping the entire commenting system (the name of it escapes me) that you use and starting over? I migrated over here from AV Club, which in my opinion (and I think it’s fair to say many people’s opinion) had a far more simple, and far better comment system.
