it’s 50 bucks for the expansion AND the core together. Without the core, it could be at least 35-40 dollars. It’s a digital download. there’s no reason why it should have to be bundled at all.

I think it was more the fact that you can’t buy the Expansion without re-buying the base game (no reduced price for existing players), and the only way to get a new character slot was to buy a more expensive deluxe version even if you’ve been playing for years.
