I prefer DPS (like most people) but I would totally queue up for tank/healer in comp if I get both a reward and smaller queue times, especially since it looks like losing/gaining rating on that role won’t affect my DPS mmr. I’m not sure only offering a shorter queue is enough of a carrot for most people.

I think it’s fair to say that your experience in QP is not the norm, however. As someone who plays QP by themselves, a not-insignificant number of the matches are a shitshow of 4 instalock DPS or goofy comps where you know you’re losing before the gates even open.
