Rotisserie chicken is objectively delicious, but it’s tough to justify the purchase given the lawsuit’s claims.

I feel like it’s hard to fully appreciate something if you just plow through it. If I binged a show in a weekend it would just all be a blur and I’ll probably forget about it soon enough.

I generally consider it a good sign when some of the episodes seem crazy short. That feels like an indicator that episodes are as long as they need to be, rather than the longer ones just being indulgent. (Admittedly, I’ve never gone back to check if it plays out that way.)

I think having a constraint can be useful for writing and editing discipline. Disenchantment definitely does not benefit from Matt Groening making the episodes as long as he feels like, whilst Futurama and The Simpsons benefited from the tightness of the 22 minute hard limit.

Weekly episodes create a fan mania for popular shows. Westworld would never have been the hit it was if everyone had binged it in one weekend. By HBO slowly revealing the mystery, fans feverishly rushed to chat rooms and forums every Sunday night to debate what that week’s episode meant and where it was leading. You

We do realize that Trump is going to beat Joe Brandon in 2024. Trumps’s second term will make his first look comfortable, and that’s taking into account the pandemic, which is still ongoing. We know this, right? Just checking, because there is a way to prevent this from happening. Trump did commit sedition and provoke

I disagree rather strongly.

In the past with cash, if a server had to make separate bills they also had to create change for each bill. That was a lot to keep organized. But with credit/debit cards, and with modern computer POS systems like most restaurants have, it’s easy. The server can touch the touch screen for all

Sounds good to me.

This is the correct take.

I pay for 2 streams, but only because I want to watch in HD. If they had a 1 stream option that also allowed for HD, my brother wouldn't be watching for free.

Same, give me the option of 4k with 1 or 2 streams and ill gladly swich.
Untill that day i will give away the last 3 streams to friends and alike.

I pay for 4 streams. Where they are being watched is none of Netflixes’ business.

Less stuff to use against us I guess.

No amount of good deeds will ever change how I feel about policing in the united states. It needs to change, big-time.

OK, who do we want for Feyd-Rautha? I’ll start: Rami Malek.

Point being there’s a lot of data out there suggesting that a lot of companies are using the “everything is shitty, of course we have to raise prices” as cover for simply raising their profit margins. Yes, there’s lots of issues and many companies are having to raise prices in response to actual upstream pressures.

And support the G/O union negotiating a new contract -- write letters of support at https://actionnetwork.org/letters/support-a-fair-contract-at-go-media?source=direct_link&

One of the biggest misconceptions of unions is that they are automatically the enemy of the workplace—if baristas are pushing to unionize, then they must hate Starbucks. In fact, the opposite is often true. Many leaders in organizing do so because they don’t want to leave their job, their coworkers, their bosses, and

I’ve often wondered how many companies will blame their greed on inflation.
