Way to completely misrepresent multiple things that I said, and fill my mouth with your complete fabrications.

Actually, IMAX (the brand) has a shocking amount of control and the rights to exclusives in their certified theaters. I’ve asked about this before and the likely reason that the online release was the 2.35 version is because of IMAX exclusivity clauses in their contract.

You’re right that IMAX is about brand fuckery

“Dune director Denis Villeneuve says the film was designed for IMAX.”

I’ve seen the movie in both IMAX and Standard. You are wrong.

Also: ““It has been dreamed, designed, and shot thinking about IMAX. When you watch this movie on the big screen, it’s almost a physical experience. We designed the movie to be as immersive as possible, and for me, the big screen is part of the language.”

The tech industry - including game development - made the transition to a “work from home” model extremely well. And that’s really beside the point because it has literally zero impact on a company’s ability to keep their investors informed about product delays. Covid didn’t bring down the internet, so I’m not sure

Transparency is always good”

... They gave zero updates for an entire year.

...because people asked for a refund after waiting a year with not a single update until “it’s delayed more, if you don’t like it get a refund”?

- A full year with no updates -
Developers: “Tough crap, if you don’t like it get a refund”
Backers: “... ok.”
Developers:

Sincerely, shut the fuck up. Take your stupid clickbait and delete it.

Gods I can’t wait for Chibnall to be gone. I remember being excited for him taking over. A distant, distant memory. He might actually be an energy vampire.
