Potatoes are awesome. A simple Yukon (or other varietal) gold potato, rubbed in oil and salt, baked at 425 for an hour served with some butter/sour cream is a perfect food.

(Despite what you may have read elsewhere, Baked Golds get just as perfect a skin as Russets, but have much better flavor)

Irish soda bread availability is the best part of St. Patrick’s day. I love it toasted with a thick smear of Irish butter and a good drizzle of honey. Delicious.
