I’ve never said this about anyone before, but some people just need to be taught a lesson: I hope he gets cancer.

Oh good. Maybe some of the nightmares will stop now.... hahahahahsobsobsob.

*Someone* had to have been running the R&D operation at Site B...

Firing the Surgeon General on March for Science day. Giant middle finger to the scientific community. That’s the message the regime is sending.

Really curious about how widespread calling it “Professor” is. That could be really telling for how highly ranked Go players view the system.

I’m a big fan of a tessellated authagraph.

“In any case, freedom of speech is freedom of speech, and just because you don’t like the message doesn’t mean you get to shut it down.”
I would argue that at a private school, like Claremont McKenna College, the students absolutely do have the right to shut it down. Public universities are government institutions

Oh yes, a lot of subreddits made a relevant template object that their users were coordinating to produce on the canvas.

I think the idea here is that someone (example: a complicit older sibling) will use a morph photo to get an official ID (for example a passport card, since you supply your own photo for those) which can then be used for both people since it reasonably convincingly resembles both individuals.

Scratch that, new promo says “this summer”

Figure 3 from the paper does a much better job of showing the actual bacteria but doesn’t appear to be available in a colorized version. This figure was used to show the bladder lumen exfoliation. Based on figure 3, I’m not sure the yellow lines are the bacteria. The little spheres in the purple area appear to be.

Just a note about the image, that’s actually a (colorized) image of the hexagonal urothelial cells that line the bladder lumen. The cell being featured in the center that appears misshapen is one affected by the infection and is dying (exfoliation), but you can’t see the bacteria themselves. The image you’ve called

No! It runs the same version of Android as the Kindle Fire under the hood so I was able to use those APKs plus some updates to get the actual current version of the Play Books APK working! You can see my comment here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=71390409&postcount=409

I still like the Nook Glowlight Plus better, but only because I figured out how to get Google Play Books running on it so I have the additional option of all of Google’s ebook library.

There is no scenario where a police department should be allowed to buy one of these abominations. The second any member of any police department even hints that they’d like to, they should be summarily fired.

No wonder Republicans are so opposed to birth control, after all, what’s the point when everything you birth is stillborn. (I’m so going to hell for this).

I would argue that if this bill passes, there’s no Plan B then either. At least not that Americans can afford.

I think that’s called a vasectomy.

Yeah this makes a lot of sense. 12 Monkeys was great at first, and I still love it, but it’s gotten a little stale. I’m grateful that SyFy (sigh, still) is giving them the opportunity to write a final season to wrap up the plot the way the writers want rather than just unceremoniously axing it.
