Maybe he's here for the press releases and auto show stuff...

I quit reading TTAC because of Farago's bs. Part of it was correct and a lot of it was supposition and frankly a lot of his stuff was also based on worst case scenario types of analysis. I've worked in the auto industry for over a decade at the OEM/Tier 1 level and he was grasping a lot of the time. Thanks for

Get off my lawn!

Uhmmmm... this is a Tracker, not a Metro. As to the rest of your argument, I see some serious holes. There are a lot of uncool cars that are cool once a stealthy engine swap takes place, so long as the swap moves the car close to epic sleeper status.

Maybe someone should go post it on Murilee's BBS so she knows where to sign in to go to work tomorrow... or page the minx.

I thought that TTAC was the dark side. Is there a *gasp* darker side?!

This one is a bit dated, but back in the day people used to think that bolting on a bigger carb meant immediate huge horsepower numbers.

A 4" lift is a really mild lift. My old '87 Chevy that I use for camping and whatnot has a 4" lift with 33" tires and it was probably the smallest non-stock truck at most car events or campgrounds here in Indiana.

For the best deal per pound, eat most of it while you're making your salad... then you only pay for a small % of the total consumed.

Quite the impressive fire in the background at 5:06. Otherwise, that was yawntastic.

Geez, that thing got hit with the Aztek stick pretty hard as it left the prototype facility.

So an open container is still legal in KY? Somehow that doesn't surprise me...

I can understand the government not allowing the cars to be registered for road use, but how can they seize the car? I would assume that you would no longer be able to drive it on the road, but it could still be used for racing.

Ha. The article states that woman didn't want her identity revealed. Then in the next paragraph, they give her husband's name.

It's vomit-inducing on so many levels. Add that to the fact that it doesn't even seem like a decent price for the mileage and it's an obvious CP vote today.

In tC guy's defense, that joint wasn't going to finish smoking itself.

I had one of these, but I had to get rid of it because I was spending too much time repairing the wall next to it.

It looks like that car from Local Motors.

Like a strangely hot butterface gymnast...
